Ṭibb-i wēdik
[Preliminary Entry] A work on Indian medicine by Ḥakīm Aḥmad ‘Alī Ḫān. The work is divided into forty chapters which are mostly devoted to the treatment of the diseases of the body starting from those of the head. The final chapters are devoted to various subjects, among which are the making of electuaries (ma‘jūn) and some drugs (šarbat, rūġan), the uses of metallic substances and talismans (ṭilismāt).
