Tarjuma-yi dharm šāstr

[preliminary Entry] The compendium of Hindu law commissioned by Warren Hastings with the collaboration of a number of learned Pandits, and translated into Persian by Zayn al-Dīn `Alī Rasā’ī. It was this Persian text that was translated into English by Nathaniel B. Halhed and published in 1776 as A Code of Gentoo Laws. The text contains a list of the Hindu scholars who contributed to it, as well as a list of Sanskrit sources.
